in preparation and celebration

The

be_compromised epic 2012 promptathon will be open for fills from 2:39 pm EDT TOMORROW! I have huge amounts of excitement for this. Seriously, there's over 1000 comments on the promptathon post and the prompts are all brilliant. This thing is epic :D Keep your eyes on the comm!

Fill are ongoing until the 10th of August AND so are prompts, so feel free to throw more ideas around over there. I keep adding prompts. It's addictive *grins*. I'm also taking icon requests here as part of the promptathon if you're interested.

I was still here, attempting to do work and contemplating fills, when I realised that in preparation and celebration of the epic promptathon I need to do icons. Y'know, besides the ones I'm doing as fills ;)

My icon space is being taken over by avengers lol. I need all the icons and when I can't find the icons I need to make 'em! Glad you like the batch :D

Um, yeah, I had to delete icons to make room for these and now I'm back to having all my spaces filled and I have, um, *small voice* 195. Also, I happen to know that more icons are coming as promptathon fills that I'm gonna need space for...

I think I stole it from a Harvey Birdman episode ages ago. They were doing a spoof on the color-coded terror warnings, and Code Black Watch Plaid was like the worst, most extreme, most dangerous scenario you could possibly have.

And for some reason it stuck. IDEK.

The problem is I tend to match my icons to my posts and comments, so I don't want to just go through and delete old ones willy nilly! But you just do such nice work. And I really want to add #11 and #14 to my collection because I think I'd get a lot of use out of them outside of the obvious fannish uses.

I know what you mean! I end up gacking a load of new icons, then deleting the ones I don't use regularly with a sad face to make space for the next new ones. I try to make some multipurpose ones so I can get the wear out of them :)

Haha, it's a comm quote. Such a quotable comm *grins*. Ooo, just thought, I haven't done any bar prompts for the promptathon and you being a bar person...how about a prompt to do a Clint/Natasha drinks list, kinda like a fan mix but for drinks? *runs off to do more prompts*

I adore the picture in 10, but I can't get any more icons, unless I want to get rid of my Torchwood/Firefly/Hunger Games/other Avengers icons. I have certain icons that go with certain posts, so I don't want to get rid of them. :)

I know the feeling. I keep gacking huge amounts of icons, and then deleting the ones that I rarely use to make space for more, because as much as I love all the pretty I don't actually use all the pretty :S

(Also *shifty eyes* I AM working on beta-ing that fic. There was work and then there was this tiny promptathon event thing.)

I'm terrible for starting fics and never finishing them. I have over 15,000 words of a Harry Potter fic I've been working on for years and 9,000 of a Sherlock/Secret Garden thing from last year. If it's only a couple of thousand words I'm good, but any longing and it ends up in limbo.
