How you feel when you so desperately want to please the person you love by doing exactly the thing that would be perfect for them... but you can't figure out what it is? And they say it doesn't matter, but you know full well it does? You have it!

Great characterization, with Wash earnestly feeling his way through this patch, potentially littered with land-mines. And it works out so sweetly in the end. Whew! And yay!
