Put the books in order from favorite to least favorite:
1. Order of the
2. Deathly Hallows
3. Half-Blood Prince
4. Goblet of Fire
5. Chamber of Secrets
6. Prisoner of Azkaban
7. Philosopher's Stone
How many times have you read the series: The whole series all the way through in order including Deathly Hallows? Twice. I tend not to read the first four books anymore unless I'm looking for specific half-remembered details I want for fic writing.
5 Favorite Characters:
1. Charlie Weasley (I'm limiting myself to one Weasley!)
2. Luna Lovegood
3. Minerva McGonagall
4. Neville Longbottom
5. Remus Lupin
3 Least Favorite Characters:
(As in annoying, to me, rather than especially villainous)
1. Aunt Marge
2. Ludo Bagman
3. The Carrows (two for the price of one)
Favorite member of the Trio:
Ron
Favorite magical creatures:
1. dragons
2. pixies (destroyers of Lockhart!)
3. Dementors (spine-chillingly awful)
Favorite family:
Weasley
Favorite villain:
Umbridge, because she's scarier than Voldemort if you ask me.
Favorite Death Eater:
Snape (because he is one, and yet he isn't, and oh, isn't it interesting!)
Favorite non-Hogwarts magical building:
Gringotts. (What else do they have in there other than dragons, I wonder?)
Favorite Diagon Alley location:
Flourish and Blotts. (Books, books, books!)
3 Favourite Spells:
1. Bat-Bogey Hex
2. Pack (of all the spells I would like to be able to do…)
3. Expecto Patronum
3 Favourite Potions:
1. Wolfsbane Potion
2. Blood-Replenishing Potion
3. Polyjuice Potion
Favourite Unforgivable Curse:
Imperius, because of all the implications.
Favourite Department of Mysteries Room:
The Planet Room
Biggest surprise:
"Erecto"? I'm sorry, could you repeat that?
(Well, that was the one part that actually made me stop reading Deathly Hallows and go back to make sure I'd read it right!)
Biggest Letdown:
The final battle ends...and suddenly we go from Harry wanting a sandwich to nineteen years later. It's not so much the fact that there was an epilogue so much as I wasn't ready for it; I was still in after-battle shock mode.
Favorite kind of transportation:
Flying motorcycle
Favorite Weasley:
I have to choose? Charlie, closely followed by the all the rest crowded in at second place.
Favorite Order member:
It's a tie between Moody and Tonks for the '90s and Alice and Frank Longbottom for the '70s.
Favorite pet:
Crookshanks
One character you'd bring back to life:
My first thought was Fred, but I'd have to go with Tonks to give Teddy a parent and Andromeda someone back, since she lost so many. (Of course, we still don't know who the full fifty people were who died in the final battle…)
Favorite Harry moment:
Destroying Dumbledore's office.
Favorite Ron moment:
"Of all the trees we could have hit, we had to hit one that hits back!" still sticks in my mind, but I loved that in Deathly Hallows, for all his doubts, he comes back.
Favorite Hermione moment:
Her imperfections, such as hexing
Favorite Ginny moment:
"If you live with the twins long enough you start to think anything is possible", I think the quote is, in OotP.
Favorite Neville moment:
He kept the DA going!
Favorite Luna moment:
Dark magic and gum disease.
Favorite Snape moment:
"Would you like me to do it now? Or would you like a few moments to compose an epitah?"
Favorite Dumbledore moment:
"Alas, earwax" for amusement and "Music: a magic beyond all we do here" for words of wisdom, back in the first book long before we began to suspect him of being a manipulative bas-
Favorite Voldemort moment:
The duel with Dumbledore in OotP, because Voldy finally has a backbone and fights the person he's afraid of.
Favorite Sirius moment:
"We were all idiots! Well-not Moony so much." – Padfoot and Moony reminisce whilst Harry has confusion :o)
Favorite Weasley family moment:
Um, all of them?
Favorite Draco moment:
Ferret. Bouncy-bouncy.
Moment that will always make you cry:
I didn't actually cry during the series - I rarely cry - but loosing Sirius and Fred were the two saddest moments, I think.
Favorite Hogwarts room:
Room of Requirement
Favorite class:
Transfigurations
Favorite teacher:
Professor McGonagall
Favorite DADA teacher:
Remus was the best, but Lockheart was the most amusing.
Least favorite teacher:
Umbridge, she whom I love to hate.
Favorite non-human Hogwarts resident:
Peeves
Favorite Hogsmeade location:
Shrieking Shack
Favorite Triwizard Champion:
Cedric
Favorite Triwizard Task:
The first. There were dragons. :o)
Which character you'd ask to the Yule Ball:
Neville – in the films he's a great dancer and Ginny has a great time; in the books he stands on her feet but he's sweet and she still has a great time. Who wouldn't want to have a great time with a sweet guy at a Ball back when you were thirteen/fourteen?
Which character you'd like to use a love potion on:
Walburga Black, to make her portrait fall in love with someone in the Order, so that she'd shut up when they tell her to.
Which character you'd like to use Veritaserum on:
Dumbledore, although he'd probably still wrangle his way out of telling the complete truth.
How long have you been a HP fan:
Umm… *has to think, which is scary in itself* I read the first book the first week of high school and loved it, so about 11 years.
Favorite wizard rock band:
I don't actually listen to any.
Number of midnight releases have you attended:
One!
Favorite HP website:
JKR's Official Site
Favorite podcast:
PotterCast on The Leaky, when I have time.
Favorite fanartist:
This is hard! [Bad username or unknown identity: reallycorking does some gorgeous work, as does caladan_dd, and potterpuffs is love.]
Favorite LJ HP community:
omniocular and weasley_fest at the moment.
Most ridiculous Potter theory you've heard:
The Giant Squid is secretly Salazar Slytherin and the Slytherin quarters are under the lake so he can keep an eye on his House.
Character you're most like:
Maybe Rose Weasley – something like Ron (because I can be blunt and stick my foot in it) and something like Hermione (because books are love).
House you think you'd be sorted into:
Online survey-type-things say Hufflepuff, and that makes me happy – friends and family are important to me, cheering people up is a fun hobby, I think working hard is a virtue, and I can be obstinate, which I see as a badger-ish trait. (Although not so much with wearing the lots of yellow since that makes me look ill.)
Your patronus would be a:
I'd like to say an otter, because I love otters, but I have no idea what it would actually be.
Your boggart would be:
Along the line of Molly Weasley's.
To you, Amortentia would smell like:
I've yet to find out! I hope one part of it is the smell of the outdoors and greenery after the rain though, because that's a really nice smell. :o)
You'd use Felix Felicis to:
I'd probably drop it or, being a bit doubtful about luck and superstition, give it away.
What job would you most like to try:
Being in a wizarding orchestra could be fun.
Which would you rather see - a sequel or a prequel:
The Encyclopedia! (I really want to know who actually died at the end of Deathly Hallows and I'd like to know the little details about the people and places we've already heard of.)
Put the movies in order from favorite to least favorite:
I'm not a fan of any of the films, to be honest, and I think they do an injustice to the books. That said:
1. Prisoner of Azkaban
2. Chamber of Secrets
3. Goblet of Fire
4. Philosopher's Stone
5. Order of
Actor most like the book character:
The guy (who's name I can't remember) who played Gilderoy Lockhart.
Actor least like the book character:
In my head the Fillius Flitwick of the books did not look how he is portrayed in the films.
Favorite movie set:
The moving staircases.
Favorite movie scene:
"Follow the spiders. Why couldn't it be follow the bloody butterflies?"
Favorite scene in the movies not included in the books:
Filch hanging up the decrees in OotP and then they all crash onto the floor is the only one I can think of off the top of my head.
Scene you were most disappointed didn't make it into the movie:
The fact that
EITHER/OR
Floo powder or Broom: Broom
Bernie Bott's Every Flavor Beans or Chocolate Frogs: Chocolate Frogs
Death Eaters or Dumbledore's Army: DA
Fred or George: George
Harry or Emo!Harry: Harry
The Ministry of Magic or Gringotts: Gringotts
Sirius or Lupin: Lupin
Occlumency or Legilimency: Occlumency
Animagus or Metamorphagus: Animagus
Mermish or Parselmouth: Parselmouth
Draco or Lucius: Draco
Peter Pettigrew or Mundungus Fletcher: Mundungus (because I can laugh at his funny times and groan at his daft times without that ache you get in your heart when you think about Peter).
Whomping Willow or Flying Ford Anglia:
Invisibility cloak or Pensive: Pensive
Werewolf or Inferi: Werewolf
Herbology or Care of Magical Creatures: Care of Magical Creatures
Professor Binns or Professor Umbridge: they're both boring teachers, but I'd stay awake for Umbridge because I'd be terrified of her double meanings. Also, she's the most dangerous character in the series, me thinks.
Yule Ball or Quidditch Championship: Championship
Peeves or Nearly Headless Nick: Peeves
Hippogriff or Thestrals: Thestrals, because I find them more interesting.
Durmstrang or Beauxbatons: I'm more curious about Durmstrang, but I wouldn't want to have gone to school there.
S.P.E.W or the Inquisitorial Squad: Inquisitorial Squad, because they're following the intentions of the people they represent (Umbridge and Filch) whereas SPEW…well, do the elves want to be free?
Three Broomsticks or The Leaky Cauldron: Three Broomsticks
Portkey or Apparation: Apparation

Oh, most definitely *shudders*
I love your response to who you'd use a love potion on... clever!

Heh, there has to be some way of shutting that portrait up! *grins*
PS Loving the Charlie icon!
