I think we also need to commission some fanart for bob5fic 's latest story.... (and the sequel I know she is writing. I KNOW IT.) It's the combo of the rope pic and the unzipped gown pic of Scarlett (or, you know, this icon and the one above). Srsly. Those two pics together... omg.

Actually, I spotted words made about maybe having a comment ficathon, which would be fantastic, and I wondered if maybe we should also, at the same time? have a sort of art/graphics version, so people could say what art they'd like, like this fan art that would indeed be GUH, and suggest graphics/gifs for people that can do those? I'd be willing to fill some icon requests. Anyhow, just a thinky thought.

I think that's a FABULOUS idea. We could do it separate or combined with the ficathon. Actually it could just be a make a wish-a-thon and if people wanted to specify artwork or fic or whatever (or not) they could.

(and i might not be working on a fic that would coincide with the aforementioned images. not at all.)

A make a wish-a-thon, wow, yes! :D (I love that be_compromised from the start has been not just about fic, because I love fic, I really, really do, but there are so many other wonderful things as well and the open inclusivity that we've got going on, I want to hug that and protect it, y'know?)

(This may be the death of me. I go willingly to this death! ...does it involve the rope? Because I HAVE TO ASK.)

I totally agree. And I love keeping the whatever-a-thon open for all kind of fanart. We've gotten such amazing stuff so far, especially in the icon department. **side eyes your talented self like whoa**


(If I were writing such a thing, which I'm not, the rope would most certainly NOT be involved. At all. In any way.)

You know, I never used to make icons and my early ones were rotten. But it was a case of not being able to find what I wanted and if you want something done do it yourself, so it makes me all crazy smiles that other people like what I make these days enough that they want to use them too :D

(srsly though, i don't even know what my brain is doing. right now it's all these half-formed thoughts with absolutely no plot and a lot of angst and it's all dark and twisty but not too dark and twisty and all kinds of suppressed longing and unrequited love and rope. lots and lots of rope. IDEK. **facepalm**)
