(nano word count 15,179)

Did everyone manage to reach 15,000 words today? That's over a quarter of the way there!

Also, the Author search function seems to be back on the NaNoWriMo website, so I went looking for the people on my f-list doing NaNo, but I'm not sure what names everyone is using. If anyone wants to add me as a writing buddy i'm on there as 'inkvoices'. I'm not, however, on the forums, purely because I don't need any more opportunities to procrastinate. *grins*

Anyhow, here are some more nano icons, for encouragement and 'we are over a quarter of the way there' celebratoriness.

Examples:

004005006

007008009

Whee! I'm snagging the "get some plot", it reminds me of Eddie Izzard! Thanks for posting.

These were worth the time you wasted procrastinating. Now get back to work! :D

I'm hovering just under 15k. Once I finish my midterm paper *gulp* I'll stay up and get the rest of the way there.

If you want to add me as a writing buddy, I'm on NaNo as twist-shimmy.

I would like to snag #5 - put my evil internal editor in jail or something.

Will definitely credit, and thanks!

Snagging (and giggling at) #2. When I'm writing an LJ post and I write a contraction it feels weird! haha.

I love your icons so much *hugs them*

Also I will add you as a buddy, if that's all right! My username there is Susanne. (I was not creative enough four years ago, it seems, to actually come up with a username. Oh, self.)

These are great. I got the Andy Capp reference, actually! I've borrowed a few, and I promise to credit if I use them. Thank you!

was looking through nano stuff from last year, got a link here - ;D love these. i'll probably take a few. ie, 10, 03, 06. for later use (toward november. ;D)

are you participating this year?

[identity profile] wolfishinsanity.livejournal.com 2009-10-25 04:30 am (UTC)(link)
Sorry for the comment on such an old post, but I was linked here. :3

Love these, especially #4. I actually did that last year, and had great fun cackling evilly and inventing new ways for them to die. But then I remembered that most of my characters were children, and had to erase it all out of guilt. Oh, the things NaNo does to us.
