I know what you mean. It shouldn't be so difficult to be a customer/consumer *sigh* and I dislike this move that seems to be happening of extras going to blu-rays only. Just because I want to buy DVDs which are cheaper doesn't mean that I wouldn't be willing to spend a bit more for DVDs with extras, it means that I don't have and can't buy a blu-ray player and think that blu-ray discs are too expensive. And a lot of my DVDs were presents off family who don't really pay attention to extras. What was the XMFC bonus material? Because that's one I only have a basic copy of.
Apparently the Avengers commentary wasn't ready in time for the UK release date and to release another copy with the commentary and expecting people to buy two copies would be mean, or something. We would have waited :S And telling people that the blu-ray they had pre-ordered had the commentary on it and then not delivering? Bad customer service.
